The short version
This is a simple informational website for a law office. It does not sell your information, does not run advertising trackers, and does not process credit-card numbers on its own pages. Two features collect information you choose to provide: the consultation request form and the online payment handoff.
Information you provide
Consultation request form. If you submit the form, you provide your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, the type of matter, and a description of how the office can help. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and to determine whether a consultation can be scheduled.
Online payment. If you use the online payment feature, you provide your name, email, and the amount, and optionally a phone number, matter or invoice number, and a memo. This payment context is passed to an independent, PCI-compliant payment processor. Card and bank-account details are entered only on the processor's secure page — this website never sees, transmits, or stores your card information.
How information is used
- To respond to consultation requests and communicate with you about your inquiry or matter.
- To process payments you initiate, through the office's payment processor.
- To keep records as required by applicable law and the North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct.
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
To provide certain features, this site relies on a small number of third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Payment processor. Card and eCheck details are collected and handled by the office's payment processor, not by this website. Trust (retainer) and operating payments are routed to separate, account-locked pages.
- Google Maps. The contact page may embed a map of the office location, which is served by Google.
- Web fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts.
- Website hosting. The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party embeds, such as the map, may set their own cookies when loaded. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention and security
Information you submit is kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, to maintain client and billing records, or as required by law. Reasonable measures are used to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children. If a matter involves a minor, please contact the office directly by phone.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit the form or use online payment, and contact the office by phone or email instead. To ask what information the office holds about you, or to request correction or deletion where applicable, contact the office using the details below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
